A special shout out to Emory University for an enlightening discussion on: The Future of Cancer at the gorgeous Estate, Atlanta, GA. Front and center, I had the opportunity to hear Dean Sandra Wong and Dr. David Frank give TED style talks. Both of their talks were engaging, thought provoking, and insightful. One of the themes which resonated in both of their talks were: increase in research/clinical trials (from bench/lab to delivery). Dean Wong's talk especially focused on access and equity. While Dr. Frank focused more on patient centric care. Totally looking forward to what the future holds in progress, treatment, and care.
