Here are some great tips for improving your networking:

Have an airtight elevator pitch or networking intro; even include it in emails and follow up correspondences.
Prospect potential clients at events with the intention of doing mutual business.
Prospect potential partners at events with the intention of doing mutual business.
Ask for specific referrals or leads at events or through discussion groups.
Meet with colleagues on a quarterly basis for master mind groups or think tank sessions.

Check out these tips for building your social media and online presence:

1.Create a strategic plan for marketing and branding on social media.
2. Hire a social media consultant for a specific project or initiative.
3. Select three or four platforms to focus my efforts.
4. Consider doing more videos via Youtube and Periscope.
5. Linking my social media outlets together.
