 The SN Tip of the week is stay late. If you are attending a business or social event, consider staying late (or until you get pushed out). It is a great way to connect with a small group of individuals or meet the organizer or host of the event. Usually towards the end of a function, people are more relaxed and open to engaging in conversation and connecting.
Definitely use this tip to excel in your networking!  The SN Tip of the week is follow up with a thank you card. It may seem archaic but taking the time to write a short note and show gratitude goes a long way. It is a subtle form of courtesy and respect. Also, it can strengthen and add value to relationships!
