I suggest taking a step back and making a list of people and things you are grateful for having. Once you have complied this list, thank those who you are able to thank. Notice an amazing world of difference!

Fall is just around the corner and I know that you all have been enjoying the Summer. Picnics, movies, concerts, ball games, reunions and weddings are some of the events which you attended and were able to network. As we move into the next phase of the year, it is also important to be networking ready. I highly recommend reading my 2 SN books. These are great and get your mind networking focused. The 1st book is jammed packed with 50 tips on effective networking. The 2nd book is a compilation of articles for networking success.

It shows that you are concerned and want to adhere to social commonalities. It also shows that you are professional and value the other person. There are many non verbal cues within this etiquette that can also be beneficial for showing respect as well.
The SN Tip of the week is to share resources. Resources is a general term that can fulfill many needs or solve plenty of solutions. Whether tangible or abstract, you can team up and partner with individuals to grow networks. Resources include ideas, people, products, services and monetary sharing.
The SN Tip for the week is to talk with those around you. If you arrive to an event early, use that time to mix and mingle with the other early birds. You will be surprised who you will meet and how much commonalities are shared. Discovering similar interests can be an excellent ice-breaker and lead to really good introductions.
