As this fantastic celebration comes to a close, I wanted to share one more inspiring story for Women's History Month. I spotlighted Marie Denise Villers in my Power Networking Breakfast for this month. Villers was an unknown, French artist during the 1800's who created this masterpiece: "Young Woman Drawing" en francais" Etude d'une jeune femme assise sur une fenetre". This painting received high recognition because it was thought to have been painted by Jacques-Louis David. Although, Villers did not receive the credit for her work, her artistry and skill was up to par with that of a famed, skilled male artist.
