Bessie Coleman was one of the stories featured in this month's Power Networking Breakfast. Besides being the first African American to receive an intl. pilot's license, she was the first African American female pilot. Her story of determination was quite inspiring. I definitely feel a unique connection to Bessie because we both know French and studied abroad in Paris, France. Needless to say, her beautiful legacy lives on...

Ok, I am a big fan of Jeffrey Gitomer and his book series on sales, marketing, networking and business! Gitomer does an excellent job of branding himself as a leader in sales. In these book series, he shares different ways of building your sales or sales team through networking, trust etc. Believe it or not, my favorite book is the "Little Teal Book of Trust". It is infused with practical ways of building trust in business and social relationships!
