Networking @ Workshops

I looove learning, developing and mastering my skills!  Besides facilitating workshops, I also attend them.  As an attendee at workshops, I am also aware of potential networking opportunities.  Listed below are my top tips for connecting at training workshops:

1. Introduce yourself to those who are around you.
2. Briefly talk about your career / business and why you are attending the workshop.
3. Find commonalities and overlapping networks by discussing your professional, social or community involvement or background.
   
4. Be a good listener and learn about the other person.
5. Last but not least, exchange information and follow up.

Use these tips to properly network!
